Hello, world! My name is Jacob Eckert and I am a Product Designer. From an early age, I loved to sketch ideas and invent new things, which led me to earn a BFA in Product Design from Columbia College Chicago. Since then I have continually been creating and making new concepts and ideas for people and myself. As a maker, I own a 3D printer and Scan'n cut machine. I am in and around shops working with metals, plastics, and wood. I 3D model and create renderings and presentations along with sketches to bring an idea from concept to prototype. As a hobby, along with designing, I do calligraphy (which you can add me on Instagram and see) as well as construct language scripts.
